75 gallon rimless tank owned by Ricardo Prata is powered by 2 Kessil A350Ws. Ricardo swithced from his old T5 setup back in March of 2013.

My new 180 set up with 4 kessil 360w doing good growing montipora and some acros like it. All in all cheaper to run in the long run with LEDs I figured pay for them selves in one year with energy bill and light bulbs changes with metal H . However the growth rate of coral is certainly slower with LEDs and some softies shrink up and gone others holding on ok. Oops this probably should be another thread. First pic tank room 2nd pic front side flush with my living room in wall . The LEDs are on apex timer and close to night mode as why look blue .I have em change sun up to sun down .Sorry

So i have a kessil a350w now, swapped from a 150w 14k MH, n i was wondering what i should set the white to? I have it now at what i think is about 30-40% & blue 45-50%. Should i raise it or lower? What should i set it to? N i have it on for 8 hrs a day. Does that sound about right? (I have mostly nice zoas, but its a mixed reef) 22X20X18 tank dimensions

anyone running them (kessils) or radions over a 30"T tank? I want to be sure I have enough punch to get to my clams on the bottom - curr running 2x250 MH radiums on my 48L x 24W x 31H

I'm seriously considering Kessil, but upon my research, some have had problems and had to be sent back. But the company responded very quickly and news units were sent the next day, even before the owners had sent the bad one back, so the custom service is great. I'll have to speak with fellow aquarists and contact the company about this issue before I buy. It could just be one of thousands......?

Secondly, why doesn't Kessil have their own controller ?
I mean having such a great light and no electronic dimmer controller, doesn't make sense to me ?

I agree, but a controller would add a few hundred onto an already expensive light
