I have a 150 gal that is 48 in long and 30 inches wide. I'm torn between getting at least 2 360's or seeing if the ap700 would be enough. I realize the ap700 states coverage is 4x2 max but my center overflow sticks out 6 inches from the back in the center. I'm aware that the back few inches on either side of the overflow may not be the best lit however I was wondering if i could just stack a fair amount of rock there and not plan on having corals. Does anyone have any recommendations/opinions.

I have two 360W and four bulb t5 on my 90. I don't quite understand why the AP700 is more than two 360's. What you're looking to do would be ok for softies and lps, but not enough for sps imo. Nothing wrong with that though. I struggle trying to keep acans, brains, and chalices because they get too much light and flow

Thanks for the reply. I'm torn because if I decide one ap700 isn't enough I need to shell out another $900 vs $400 for a 360.

I believe you can raise the 700 to get the coverage that you need

You could do the AP700, it should be enough
