Here is the thing, I personally use and love Radiums, I had a disappointing experience with Radions a few years ago. Now after installing Kessils on clients tanks, they have caught my eye. So after researching the spectrums of kessils I found one good thread in Japan showing they lack 400nm-420nm. The Halo's have some of that and a whole variety of blues to ensure good color. Has anyone seen these units side by side, or maybe more solid info on Halo's?. I realize they are not awesome in the program sense. Then again, my halides have given me unreal growth and great color plugged into a wall timer. It's results I want more so than gadgetry. But it might be time to lower the electric bill.
In a nutshell, I like the kessils, but fear they may not be using enough variety of blue LEDs for maximum coloration. The Halo's seem interesting, but almost zero feedback online.
