I run them at 60%. They do look dim compared to other led tanks I have seen in person. It seems like Kessils have a lot of uv light that tend to fry my corals when I turn up the intensity because the tank does not look bright.
What color do you ramp up to? I max my color at 65 through the Apex.I run mine at 70% intensity over a 17g tank. Brown **** corals despite spot on parameters which are much better than how I used to keep it.
30% now....What color do you ramp up to? I max my color at 65 through the Apex.
That toadstool! :OSame.

That toadstool! :O
Mattrg20, how many kessils do you have over your tank? I find that people who are succesful with kessils have more than just one over their tank.
My A160WE Keeping my SPS happy inside my NC 28G. My rainbow acans look amazing under this light. I did start T5 supplementation a week ago, but before that, most of this growth has been under my Kessil. Intensity at 50% and color at 30%.I love my Kessil too. This picture is with the Kessil on only. I use my Apex Jr and VDM module to control it.Same.

Say hi to Dave for me! There you go. I trust whatever vivid aquariums says because they know what they are doing. From a previous customer that lived in the SF Valley. Both the Kessil and Ecotech Radion are great lights for any reef aquarium. Honestly you can't go wrong with either. We have been running the Ecotech Radions in our store since they first came out and are very happy with them. Personally I would choose the Ecotech Radions but I must say I have lots of happy customers running both.
