Kessil 360we lighting schedule for 28g nanotube?

I haven’t found any clear instructions on lighting for this other than putting it 12” above the water line and don’t go over 40%.

Currently I have no corals, but plan to have a mixed tank (sps, LPS, and sof

I’m assuming a 10 hour photo period?

How does this look?
11AM int 5% color 5%
1 PM int 25% color 50%
3PM int 35% color 70%
5PM int 25% color 70%
7PM 5% color 5%
9PM int 0% color 0%

I tend to prefer the more crisp white than blue be as the color %

Any feedback, suggestions, or help would be fantastic!

I was told not to go over 40% intensity due to it being such a powerful light for the size/dimension of tank?

I have this light over my 32 gallon biocube. While I like it and it does a good job it does not put out much PAR . I get 175 PAR at the anemone. It’s 11 inches off the water. I ramp up to 75% intensity on a 12 hour schedule

I would probably mount the light 8" to 10" from the water or when the light starts to spill over the edge. 10 to 12hrs is good for a light cycle with a 6 to 8hr peak. Color works where you like it, that's the great thing about Kessil logic, you'll never have a bad setting for corals. Rent or borrow a par meter and map your tank with the settings you outlined, this will help you decide where to place corals when you're ready for them. With a single light, you'll have to be careful with placement of sps.

Thanks everyone for your help and feedback. I thought the 12” gap seemed weird because the light spilled over a lot— I’m going to lower it to 8-10”. I’m going to play with it and see about taking it past 40% intensity. So when I get corals — too intense lighting leads to bleaching, too little leads to die off, correct? Probably the easiest way to figure out conceptually the intensity factor.
