Kessil 360we

I picked up a used kessil 360we with mount and controller for $50. Now here is the catch the light went for a swim. The guy said he was so upset he took it off his tank and want back to MH. As he was cleaning out some reef stuff he came across the light but can’t find the power supply. So here comes my question can I use my power supply off my A160 to see if the A360 works? Is there anything I should to do the light before I plug it in for the first time since the swim? Form what I understand the light was on when it fell in the tank he said he wiped it off and put it away never plugged it in after the dunk. Thank you

The internals on this light are quite well waterproofed but a dunking while on is asking a lot. I don’t believe the 160 power supply will fire up a 360.

I had a A150 that went for a swim while turned. I continued to use the light for another year

So got on YouTube and found some videos on how to take apart the light. After I got the cover off I was really surprised that there was not salt creep and over all the board looked really clean. I blow off the board and cleaned the fan really well. Put it back together and it’s been running flawlessly! I always read how someone got a really good deal on a tank, light, pump and so on. Well this time it was me!
