I am stuck on which route to go! I am currently setting up a waterbox 60.2 (24 x 24x 18) tank and am going back and forth with which light fixture to go with. I am going to be doing a mixed reef with only a handful of sps at the most.
I love the look of the kessils and the compact size of it, but i worry that it won't be enough light output. I know I will have enough light with the orphek but worry about more of a disco ball effect and mounting issue. I will be using a tank mounted arm on either one of the lights I decide to get. I can't stand the hanging kit look. Orpheks mounting arm has a glass thickness minimum of 10mm to use. The waterbox uses an 8mm thick glass. Is there some way I would be able to get around this issue if I were to go with orphek? Would love to get some opinions and some help with my decision. Thank you

Have you looked at the Red Sea 90watt reefled?

It's the top 90 watt led, going by BRS's review / spec video.

There has been some bad power supplies, but Red Sea is weeding those out on an case by case basis.

There's videos of the orphek on you tube and as far as I've seen those lights dont have the disco effect I know radions do

They make some great lights.

Not going to debate radions either, you can buy the diffuser.

I have Orpheks and love them and theyre on sale at BRS. yesterday I saw a 500g tank under 4 kessil A360we and it blew me away. The shimmer and color were amazing and I used to have these and was just blown away by the color and effect not to mention the entire tank (below)

True but why spend so much money on some quality lights which yes radions are good lights but we shouldn't have to buy a diffuser for them. There both good lights but i think I would go with orphek

No need for a debate about the diffuser.

I run Kessil, and asked if the OP has looked at the Red Sea Reefled.

I think I'm gonna go with the orpheks. I love the kessils but I'm afraid one fixture won't be enough light for the tank. I would like a few sps and possibly a clam at in the sandbed. I think the orphek will allow me not to worry about if I have enough light or not

I always dreamed of owning Orphek lighting and thanks to our lord who watches over me and overtime at work, i was able to get my dream tank and All Orphek lighting. Four orphek lights snd 4 orphek light bars.
You will absolutely love the light, light effects and the App itself
