Kessil 360x

Considering getting a pair of used kessil a360x for my 125 gallon tank. 650 for the pair plus the mounting brackets and the wifi controller was curious of people’s opinions on these lights.

I'm thinking you might be 1-2 Kessils short, but I'll let the Kessil experts weigh-in.

They are really good at what they do. Being a point source light, you will have some limitations as far as spread and shadowing goes. This can be overcome by adding more kessils or using T5 or led light bars to reduce shadows and maximize spread.

For a 6’ tank I would recommend at least three a360x for LPS/softies. If you plan on going sps dominant I would either add more or get a hybrid system.

I am currently using 3 on my 5’ tank and plan on getting a T5 hybrid fixture as my sps grow and shadow themselves and other corals.
