Heard some good things about them and I am thinking this might be the way to go. Anyone have any negatives about them? I don't see them on the for sale forums so that must be one good thing.

my new tank is 18w, 24L, 24D. 45G cubish would one be enough spread?

any FTS would be appreciated :)

u should be fine im planing on buying 3 for my
60" L 24"W 30" D but im mainly lps so dont need alot of lite if u doing sps i still think it should be fine they are pretty bright great color too

The kessil would definitely have enough spread over a 24" L tank. I had one unit over a 36" long tank and no worries about dark spots.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I've been hearing quite the buzz about these Kessil LED's as well. Anyone have any info or experience with them?

I've seen the website and the testimonials on there. I am impressed with what I've seen. I was so curious that I set up a new account with their North America supplier. I will be ordering two of the 15K lights and place them over a tank next week. I tried finding good and bad reviews. I could not find one bad review.

I've got the Kessil 15k and I love it.

Here is my build with recent pics with the 15k Kessil. https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/jbj-nano-club/64515-lurchs-28g-nanocube-hqi-5.html#post769316

Also, here are a few FTS w/light pics:

Purchased my 15k should be here next week cant wait. I might have to steal that aquascape sick!!!!!

Some have expressed concern about uv dip and the potential impact on coral. I still need to research more as I like these and will consider purchasing as well. Does anyone know if the 10k looks like 14k. I have read a few threads about them being very blue

This maybe a bit of a late post, but for your 45G cube, 1 would not be enough if you intend to spread your corals through out the tank, unless you aquascape most of your corals towards the center of the tank or inline with the fixture.
