Kessil a160 vs AI prime hd

Hello fellow reefers,

Going to be upgrading the light on my Fluval m40 and I’m undecided on which to get. It’s my birthday next month so the mrs has said to choose and that’s my birthday present from her.
I’m leaning towards the kessil as I love the shimmer effect!!! What are everyone’s experience with either light? Which would you choose and why?

I have a 160 on a 14. I’m actually really happy with it. Descent growth and good shimmer. Nice small foot print.

I cannot comment on the ai prime but have read on many occasions it grows coral better than the kessil. Just what I read, no personal proof.

Just picked up a 160 for my 14. Really like the ease of use with apex. Softies and lps loving it, time will tell with sps but can always add another. I’m more partial to the shimmer and color blending of kessil than other leds
