Kessil a160we tuna sun as display refugium light

Ive got a kessil a160we tuna sun, to go on my 46g cube display refugium. Good or bad idea?any body try this. If you have any pics or info.

I have no personal experience, but did tooooons of research when purchasing my tuna blues as well as debated the tuna Suns on my planted before it crashed. The tuna sun is 6k-9k spectrum which would be exactly what you would want to promote macro algae growth. I'd say it'd be a good match for the fuge in my opinion.

Hey thanks thats kinda what i was thinking, i sold a tuna blue to get the tuna sun, im hoping it works out

You're welcome. I think you'll be pleased. Saw plenty of vids and info regarding this use doing some homework a while back. Again, no hands on, just hearsay from my research in past.
