How intense should I run my light on both channels? I have mostly softies and zoas with sone lps including a plate coral, open brain, and a duncan coral.

What size tank, how far off the water surface is the light?

30 gallon tank that is 16.5 inches tall. My light is 5 inches off the surface of the water.
I'd say to start at 50% color and 30% intensity, and slowly work it up to about 50% intensity. I have my kessils 6.5 off the water surface and I get about 230-240 par at my sps corals at 65%. So you want to start low and slowly work it up.

How should it be distributed across the blue and white channels?

The nice thing with the kessil is it really doesn't matter what color you put it at it's going to receive the correct Spectrum acrossed it all so the color is really more or less for your aesthetics how you want the tank to look. you could leave it at 0% color full time and they'd be fine, same with leaving it at 60-70 or even 80 color all the time.

I will ensure that the intensity is 50% total then. Thanks for the advice

Are you running the older A350 that has a separate channel for blue and white?

I ran my A350 over a 12” deep tank. The light was nine inches above the water. I ran the white channel at 15-20% and blue at 45% to 50%. It was an LPS tank

I have since done the same. I run the blue channel at 50% and the white at around 10%. I thought running it higher was a good idea, but my brain coral got a bit more pale.

Are you still running these lights? Are you still using the same intensity?
