Kessil A350w or maxspect razor nano ?

I've got a Solana 34 cube that I plan on having very exotic livestock. I want this to look it's absolute best, so what do you guy think ? I have the option to buy an A350w kessil with the gooseneck and everything plus coral for $225.
Should I get that instead of a new maxspect razor for $290 ?

I love the look of the razor itself, but I love the shimmer that the kessil provides. The kessil also has more wattage and greater spread. I really prefer the controllability of the razor, and how it can run on its own timer compared to the kessil, which I also have to manually adjust throughout the day to see something different in my tank.

I'm really not sure. I'm leaning more towards the kessil, even though I'm buying it about a month used, because of its better raw power and its shimmer.

Whats your experience ? Which do you prefer ? Let me know.

Kessil

The Razors look very Purple where the A350 is very Blue.

Looks much much better.

Look at any Picture.

Go to their Facebook every single picture is purple.

I know of no other LED that is like that but the Razor.

Every other picture of every other led looks blue with the exception of the razor.

I've seen videos and a few pictures, they did look a bit more purple but not to the point of it looking bad honestly.

I bought the razor nano for a 34 gallon setup and I didn't like it. I ended up selling it. Mounting options are terrible. Go Kessil, much better spread and a much better light.

Alright, I think that just about sums it up. Although I prefer the look of a larger light on a nano, kessil Is the way to go. Thanks guys.

Of the two you listed the Kessil is the better choice. Really though, might look at a Hydra52 or Radion. More controllability and better spread. Shadowing is always a major concern with LED fixtures ...so the more pucks the better. One puck over a Solana and you will have shadowing issues.

It's the wide 350 though, I thought it can handle a 24" spread easily ?

Why not the 360 ? You can get the spectral controller. I haven't used the controller but have my 360 connected to my rkl thru the alc. I like it once I got things figured out.

I'm buying the kessil from someone on craigslist for super cheap. Otherwise I would get the 360 instead.

A guy I had gotten coral from today told me not to get a kessil because its a multi-chip and that they slowly burn out without you noticing until your PAR becomes significantly lower.

Anybody know about this ?

The A350 is Nicer for Color.

It is really Blue.

For some reason the Original A360 looks Purple and the Newest A360-We looks White.

I cannot stand either of their Colors.

Go with the A350 for sure.

Only problem is you cannot use it with the New Controller Kessil just released.
