I have a Kessil A360W over my cube and it just casts way more light outside of the tank than I want. Looking at the dimensional drawings for the 360W vs the 360N, it looks like there is just a different cover and lens attached to the front. Has anyone heard of swapping out optics on these?

I emailed Kessil, but figured I'd check if anyone has done it before in the meanwhile.

I'd be interested in this as well. Would increase par quite a bit to go from a wide lens to narrow.

I heard back from Kessil. Everything is the same between the A360N and A360W, except the optics. Unfortunately the optics are not user-replaceable. I might just cut a small strip of black plastic and wrap it around the bottom of the light to cut down on the spill....

You could get a lens from a surplus optical supplier, or eBay, and mount it over the current lens. You would lose some light, but not much.

I've got it about 4" above right now. We'll see how it is when the tank is full.
