Kessil A360W or AI Hydra 26 ??

I was 90% sure on lighting for my 65 gallon in wall corner tank. I started comparing the Kessil AP700 vs. 2 AI Hydra 26's in which I made the decision to go towards the Hydra's. Now I came across the Kessil A360's which I see have more power than the AP700 and emit great natural shimmer, but lack the ease of wifi control. So here's what I'm considering:

2 Kessil A360W's

Pros: Great shimmer

Cons: Lack of control unless connected to an Apex system or the controller from Kessil which I don't believe is wifi. Less features than Hydra's. No moonlight settings since lights can't go past 13%


2 Hydra 26's

Pros: No need to purchase another controller with the wifi app, more features, moonlight setting

Cons: Less shimmer, bugs in the app (or at least I hear)


Tank is 4' long, 18' deep

Which would you suggest and why? Any pictures of your A360 or Hydra 26?

I love my (3) AI Hydra 52 HD+ over my 220. I haven't had any issues with the app.
(2) AI Hydra 26 HD+ would be perfect for your tank.

2 x Aquatic Life XS-UV 14". Can get them direct from Aquatic Life and I have watched amazing coral growth in my friends tank. I just bought 2 for my 100 gallon. One seems limited to 24-26" coverage, so 32" tank, you could run them on 3/4 power and easily have sps. I love the app too. However, after looking at just the two you chose, I would go with the Kessils based upon the look. Both will work fine, but the Kessils look better, imho.

Stopped into my lfs today and was able to see the Radion XR15W gen 4 pro's in action and I gotta say....very impressive. They had good shimmer and would communicate with reeflink if I got one which would be good considering I have the mp40 powerhead and thinking of adding an mp10 as well. Anybody own these lights who can give me their 2 cents??
