Kessil A360x/Aquatic Life Hybrid settings

2 Kessils spread 12” from center of the tank (24” apart)

I’ve had a recent coral die off that may not be light related, but my lps are suffering while my sps are doing fine. I’m just making sure the lights are acceptable for it.

Did you acclimate your corals to the light. Just recently purchased 360x for my mixed reef and my LPS didn't like the intense light at first. I turned mine down for a couple of weeks and are slowly ramping back up. Looking better now.

I did. I did a 3 or 4 day acclimation for each of them.

I think we need more info about your tank, parameters, age, etc? Just going by your light schedule, I don't see anything that jumps out or have any concerns with lighting. How did the LPS die? Bleached? Brown jelly?

Loss of tissue it seems.
Nitrate is undetectable with salifert
Same with phosphate

I have algae that my tang and melanurus pick around and scavenge for food.

If N & P are undetectable, then I would start there. Are your sps pale? How many fish and how often do you feed?

Sps are fine. It’s the lps that seem to have an issue.
I have:
2 clowns
1 midas blenny
1 hawkfish
1 melanurus wrasse
1 yellow tang

I feed daily with eheim feeder and about 1-2 times per week with frozen.

That's not much of a bio load in a 150g, I would feed multiple times a day, but small amounts. In the meantime, it may be necessary to dose a little N & P until detectable? I would also let your alk drop to 7 or 7.5. I think between 7 - 8 is good for low N/P tanks. Consider adding more fish too, they provide the best coral food.

A couple more herbivores would help with any algae that starts to grow. It's really down to preference, but I'm a huge fan of fairy and flasher wrasses, but having a lid is a must. Small group of anthias in a 150 would look nice too. I personally like a lot of smaller fish that each inhabit a particular zone of the tank. I know tangs are hard to come by at reasonable prices, but bristle-tooth tangs are really good addition/option. For larger tanks, I like tangs that have different shaped mouths, as they each go after a different type of algae.
