Hey guys I’m having a hard time finding a good night setting on the new kessil x spectral controller I can’t seem to find that blue that pops the corals isn’t so bright that my entire house glows however still bright enough to enjoy the tank more at night and most of all keeps my eels down

#reefsquad, anyone with a kessil that could provide some insight? :)

I don’t know about the X but the old ones could only dim to 13%. If you had their controller I think you could get down to 5%

The new 360x can all the way down to 0 I run mine at 3% intensity and 0 color with no red green or violet for a moon effect. Technically a more accurate moon color would just be a dim daylight since moon light is reflected day light.

It is really hard for me to recommend that magical blue color. It is purely a preference and completely non functional.

Good point lol

360x does not dim all the way down to zero. It’s much better than the old 360WE, but it cuts out at about 1%. I tried just keeping the violet on at 1% but hated how it looked. If you run the color down to 10% and the intensity to 1% (with the three new colors at 0%), it’s a passable moonlight. Still too bright for me, but I use the Apex LSM anyhow.

I have a video of it dimming down on my Simons 450 thread.
