The Kessil a80 says it works for reefs up to 14” by 14” and the biocube 16 is 15” by 16.75”.

Do you think it would be viable for it still?

What livestock are you thinking about keeping?

In short I'd say yes it would work

I’ve currently had my tank up and running since October, I currently have 2 1” black occelaris clowns and 1 1” 6line wrasse and a handful of corals that are surviving and growing but not thriving as much as I’d like and want to upgrade the light and I feel like if I take the lid off for the light I’ll have more room to fit stuff in the back of the tank

What kind of corals?LPS, SPS or softies

I have an a80 on my 10 gallon tank and they are doing great. I purchased the controller for it so it ramps up and down. But I definitely can see that it's working. When my lights come on I'll take a photo of it. It is a holding/transfer tank while switching from my old tank to the new.
