Yes, Time will tell.
I think it's been 3 weeks since I modded them into my canopy.
Now, That hammer blows out so much during the day that you can't even see the H pattern anymore and it's hammer polyp's are huge.

Got to give a big thumbs up to Kessil. For a $129 it's hard to beat over a nano,

No I decided to upgrade my cichlid tank and bought a 90 gallon planet aquariums reef ready so I can hide my mechanics in a sump its going in my flower shop so it needs to look clean I'm doing that this month and will go back to the home tank next month, I have to many tanks lol

Update:
I'm about 7 to 8 weeks in with the Kessil a80's modded into my canopy.
I could not be any happier. All my lps have been balloon'd out and my SPS are still colored up and continue to go and encrust my live rock. I have a red hot chilli pepper that's 20" down and it's color and growth have never been better.

Even though it took 7 hours to complete, this is by far the best lighting mod that I've ever done for my reef.
