dont feel like spending a kessil controller. What’s a Best timer for off and on for this light? Can I get any timer?

Any "plug in the wall" timer will do the job.

IDK how you like it but I have an amazon Alexa. This allows me to use a WiFi controlled outlet switch. I am then allowed to set timers for the thing to be different every day. Maybe I want a schedule the lights on till 8pm in the week but change it to 10 pm on the weekend. Then there are those times when your sitting watching your aquarium and it turns off, your mad cause you don’t want to mess up the plug in timer. All you do with the smart outlets is turn It on via your phone. There are settings to go off and on at sunset and sunrise and to clarify, you don’t need an amazon echo. Hope this helps
