Just picked up a kessil a360w for use on my daughters 16 gallon bowfront until my 93 cube is set up, I'm coming from a current USA orbit marine fixture. I was running that at 100% on both channels for 7 hours a day then ramping up and down for an hour each. My question is what if any acclimation should I use for this new light. I have a mixed reef, a few acro, monti cap, hand full of acan and lobos on the sand bed and candy cane and Duncan in the middle, sand bed is 19 inches from surface and with this light I can only get it as high as 6 inches above the water with the gooseneck. Maybe keep it low until the spectral controller comes out next month and just use the acclimation feature on it. Most of these corals have came from kessil lit frag tanks at the LFS

Thanks -tim

With it that low I would start around 40% and slowly move up every couple of days. I've got mine up to 63% intensity with the light 9 1/2" above.

Sounds good, I have had it at about 30 % for the last few days since got it
