So when I got back into the hobby a few months ago my LFS recommended the Kessil A160WE for my Nuvo Fusion 20. I went with it and joined a site like R2R for my local area. Started my tank thread and immediately go several messages recommending I go a different route with lighting if I wanted to successfully keep SPS in my tank. Luckily I had a 48in light from a previous tank that I brought with me and was offered a trade for a brand new AI prime.

I've ran both with pros and cons. Reading up on SPS as much as possible I've found that many successful tanks are running under T5. So I started looking at them.

I just want to keep this somewhat simple. What are you running on your SPS tank? Can you post a picture of your schedule?

Below is my AI Prime schedule. My Kessil also comes on from 4pm - 7pm at 15% color and 50% intensity. When the Kessil is on I'm running around 70k lux, when it's off I'm around 33k lux.

Thank you in advance for anything you share.

Following because I have same questions but I have my choice between a AL prime, reef radiance 155e, kessil, 160we, or hqi metal halide with Phoenix 14,000, on a sps only nano 14g

Depending on how you have your aquascape is, the a160we should be plenty to grow beautiful sps in that size tank

That's plenty for Sps I got a kessil sky blue150 over my 29 cube and got 26 frags of Sps of all kinds and they all look great grow like crazy so think ur just fine
