Does the fan suck air in from the sides of it? Trying to cover it with something for salt spray protection.

The fan sucks air in from the top and pushes it out on the ends of the fixture

Thanks i had a fan make a squeeling noise before and had it replaced under warranty. The new kessil i have some light filter floss on top of it to prevent salt spray getting in and screwing the fan. Thanks again.

How close to the water is the light that you're getting salt spray?

How close to the water is the light that you're getting salt spray?

Its approximately 11 inches. My tank isnt normal lol. I have a 45 gallon brute that surges 45 gallons of water in 5 seconds or so. I want to put it closer but just cant for the bubbles.
