Just bought an AP700 and using the android version on my Galaxy Note 4 ph. The app looks & functions differently than what I've seen with the IOS ver. on an ipad/mini 2 or higher. With ios to change times and intensities just touch a point on graph & you can move it to what ever time and intensity with your finger, from what I've seen on YT videos. With the Android ver. you have to touch the 'blue' button showing the 'intensity setting in %, which brings you to another screen to adjust it with ur finger on a 24hr clock. It appears cant't go to template screen & use finger to move desired time point & intensity like on the IOS app. Is this the way it is? It seems like the latter app is so much easier to use. If true looks like I might have to buy a used/refurbished ipad mini to make it easier to control the light. Thanks for any comments/help.

From what I understand, the Apple app was the first one to come out, android didn't come until a couple months later. So the apple app has had more time put into it. They've been rolling out updates for the android app lately and I see in Google play that app version 3.8 is to be released soon. Hopefully their android version will catch up soon as it's the one I use.

Just saw a BRS video on their website from 5 months ago and Ryan was using either an ipad or mini-ipad and it looked really easy to set time & intensity with your finger, not like what you have to do on android version.
* whats interesting is if you go to kessil website and go to support page for downloading controller for ap700, at top you have several choices : 'IPAD', 'Android Tablet' , 'iphone', and 'android smartphone'. The ipad & android tablet show the same easy way to change time & intensity with your finger moving it around on timeline. But the iphone & android smartphone have the version that you need to go to a second screen to change setting like I mentioned in my first post. Really weird. here is page : http://www.kessil.com/aquarium/Saltwater_AP700_APP_manual.php
