I just got my Kessil AP700 lights set up. Can some one please point me to where I can find a set of programs (i.e. what time lights should come in and go off and what intensity) or share what program you're running?

Currently we have just a single clown fish and now corals yet.

At this point, being that you have no corals, you can run pretty much any schedule you want. The pre-loaded program would work fine. And when the lights come on and turn off is entirely up to you. Some users will have them come on in the morning and turn off in the evening. Some users that work odd hours will have the tank come on at midnight and turn off at noon. It's all depended on you and your schedule :)

Hi,

I was wondering if someone can do a huge favor for me. I need the settings from the Kessil Wifi controller, I reset the wifi controller to factory and of course now i cant add the lamp in the app.

If you connect to your Kessils wifi
then goto http://10.10.100.254
login / password will be admin/admin (if you haven't changed it) (Kessil terrible security !!)
Im after the screen shots if each menu so i can resent mine.

AP interface Settings and Application Settings STA interface settings
but all the menus if possible. This would be a HUGE help.

Thanks
Sparky

There's no magic trick to it (that I'm aware of), you literally just have to keep resetting the light, until the app decides to see it. It is the worst software out there, which is a shame, because the light itself is fantastic.

I bought an AP700 when they first came out, and chalked the software to "it's new, growing pains, they'll get it right." Well, that tank blew up a few days after I filled it, so I sold off a bunch of stuff, but kept the light.

Now that I'm giving it a go again, I got the light out a couple of weeks ago, updated it to the latest firmware, and went to set it up again. Literally the same exact issues, years later. Even after it connects, the app is garbage. I sold it on Ebay, and bought two 360X's with the hardwired controller. We'll see what their wifi dongle looks like when it comes out, but I don't have a lot of faith.

Frankly, I'm excited that Red Sea announced their new lights, with built in wifi, and an app that looks well made. I'll probably get those once they're released.
