Kessil AP700

Hello fellow reefers, I have given a much needed update to my 90 gallon mixed reef with a Kessil AP700, I was curious if anyone currently using this light has any suggestions for color, intensity, photo period, etc. Any advice or pointers are greatly appreciated

A single ap700 will not be enough for a 4 foot tank unless you have very low light corals. In order to get it to cover that much, you would need to raise it way up and then the output would be low.

What are you currently keeping, and wanting to keep in the future? It will matter.

I just got one myself for a 60g rimless cube (2x2). I am also looking for ideas on settings.

I agree that one of these is going to be deficient for a 4' tank.

I am currently keeping zoanthids,acans,hammer coral,cinerina, mushrooms,and one montipora that is at the very top of my aquascape

Those are not high light corals, so a non-high light like a Kessil will be fine. Would be worried about the spread. Look at some single 350s or 360s so that you can spread them out more than the two pucks in the 700.

I already have the AP700 over the tank
