Kessil controller X on A160 tuna blue

If I understand correctly. The new controller is backward compatible. However I am wondering if anyone has tried this, or has any knowledge if all the features work. Am I better off getting the older controller?

No they won’t it’ll only control the blue and intensity because you have to use the 0-10v connectors. Which you have to order separately aswell. Or buy it at the pharmacy or electronic store

X controller will control the older lights just like the older controllers. One channel is the new usb-c connector for the X light with additional colors. The other channel is standard 3.5 mm phono for the A lights (just color and intensity).

Bottom line it will work they cost the same with the exception of not having the 3.5mm connector. So if you ever decide to upgrade to the 360x your golden!
