Kessil Fan Is Loud

I have two Kessils on my 75g and the fans are loud. Only noise I can hear are those fans even the return pump and skimmer. Any suggestions?

Clean them. Use a can of air, or open them up and blow out all the dust. How old are they

HI take them apart and give them a good clean do this at least twice a year if the fan fails kessil refuse to supply replacements Regards MIKE

I have them mod in T5 fixture. Fans are not exposure to dust that much though.

Fans shouldn't be 'loud', but they certainly are not silent. As noted, periodic cleaning can help to keep them in good running condition. If the fans fail during the 2 year warranty, K will replace them; if they fail after then they will not ...... which is pretty much how warranties work.

This looks like you might be restricting air flow across those kessils, that and the added heat from those t5s could b cooking the fan. Just a guess though.
