Hey everyone, I won this light through the BRS giveaway, however, I have no use for this beast currently and I don't want to have it laying so I am trying to sell it if possible. Cost including shipping will be $800. I know BRS had this light on the 160 tank for a little time but I don't know for how long. When I received it everything was cleaned up as if brand new.

That thing is awesome :) Wish I had some extra change laying around. Love my H380. Wouldn't mind upgrading.

This is to grow your *plants* indoors?
BRS sells it as refugium light because it can technically be used for that due to the spectrum it puts out. They have a video series on this light plus other refugium lights. You would need a large refugium or to be growing "something else" for it to be plausible. Kessil designed it to be a horticulture light so it will grow anything green I think.

How about a trade?

I'm currently not in need of anything but out of curiosity what are you thinking?

I've got 5 gallon buckets each BRS Soda ash and Calcium, new. APEX PMK, almost new, WMP10QD, 2 ehiem feeders, NextReef MR1 reactor, 6 stage BRS filter kit (the good filters), lots of extra shop tools, some Penn fishing poles, and you can take my wife.

JK, you don't want my wife. Italian, like playing with thermite.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a need for that stuff haha

Problem is its designed for small surface aera.. And for 550 I gan get a monster grow system and would cover 10 feet by 10 feet..
