Kessil H380 settings

Hey BRS, quick question. The H380 has two settings, purple or magenta spectrums. Which one is appropriate for chaeto growth?

Disregard, I think I found what I was looking for.


"Switchable Spectrum

Extreme Purple - Ideal for the growth phase of algae or plants. This spectrum will produce rapid growth while producing a lush, healthier algae. We suggest tuning the H380 closer to this spectrum to allow faster growth and uptake of nutrients.

Extreme Magenta - Targets the bloom stage, driving plants to increase quality and quantity of yield."

In other words, Purple for use in aquaria, Magenta for use in Colorado. lol
