Kessil h380

Would I be better off getting the h380 or the h80 for a smaller size sump?? The sump is made for a 46 gallon bowfront tank and I got kessil light's for the tank and they can be adjusted but I don't know if these lights can be adjusted or not so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

It depends what you’re trying to accomplish. Is this a primary means of nutrient control? Then H380. You’re going to want to adjust it with the amount of time on using a timer or aquarium controller. Personally I own this light and I love it. It works too well at times but prior to owning it I struggled to grow Chaeto. It seemed like other algae’s like GHA would always overtake it. This light is the perfect wavelength for macro.

This is my first sump and I'm gonna grow chaeto so yeah for nutrient control hopefully

I'm gonna get a controller like I have for my other 2 kessil light's on the tank because that light has to have it's own controller right to run a reverse schedule right and which gooseneck do I get for the light

I probably can't get the light cheaper then 199 right because I checked on it and it's a new light so nobody sells used one's yet right I mean if I gotta spend that I will

The controller like that wouldn’t be necessary. You’ll only need the on/off function. Have you watched the BRS 160 52 weeks of reefing? That’s a great place to start.
