Not sure there is a best. Just opinions. Lots of folks keep SPS with them so you should get some decent information. There is a thread specifically that may help below. Best of luck.

Yes - I run a360x's but not specifically over a SPS tank. More of a mixed reef 30" deep but really love the lights and amazing customer support should you ever need it.

I'm a LED sort of guy (but openly acknowledge that MH and fluorescent lamps work as well.) Some of my corals under LEDs.

No idea what this is but it is super cool looking. Branching something or other :D
A Montipora digitata. It still has the orange polyps but has turned from blue to green. And I know why. I've been working on an article for a couple months now and will get it online soon, I hope.

It is pretty. I did not know they branch like that.

Kessils, the pendant kind have one specific issue with SPS and that's shadowing. Because Kessils have a small lightsource to provide maximum shimmer this means they are very directional. This can cause a problem with hard corals because light may hit the coral with hard shadows and cause uneven growth.

Doesnt mean a kessil cant work with hard corals. It just means you need to use common sense and typically more than one to fill in shadows.

I have several bubblegum digis and their skin color tends to be dictated by water nutrients and stability. Unlike the common german blue which turns its polyps metallic white under very high light the flame and bubblegum tend to retract their polyps if under high light as a compensation factor. I suspect in the wild the flame and bubblegum have a more narrow grow range. They are very cool though and the bubblegums are becoming more popular.

I would like to combine kessil with 4 t5, but kessil is not seen. They are the right lamps for my purpose. I read that the blue and the attack of the ships is not as beautiful as that of the radion g4 pro

Haven’t taken a ton of pictures since switching to leds. To be fair these were all grown the Majority of their life under metal halides. But these are images taken under reef breeders photon v2+ leds

how long have you been using these leds? do you use them alone or in combination with the t5?

not long. Only about a month but the transition has been largely seamless. No t5’s I haven’t planned on doing a hybrid. If I decide I need more coverage I’ll get a second photon unit
