Kessil lighting coral coloration

Looks like I gotta order the Kessil mounting arms and ditch the goosenecks. The mounting arms look like you can set the exact height you want and how far out too. With the goosenecks you're kind of limited to how much you can bend them.
I have the mounting arm, and they are adjustable, but they are coated metal. I was wondering if the end that attached comes in contact with the saltwater is an issue? I guess since it's not copper it shouldn't be a problem. Idk....

You have a pic of your tank you could share? I wana see what 2 Kessils look like so close together across the length of the tank. In my head I'm imagining it looking cramped
Here's an older pic...

At earth's surface the sun's rays are considered parallel rays which move across the sky during the day. This seems really different from only 2 fixed point sources over a tank. I don't understand why people aren't using their purchasing power to demand led manufacturers do a better job of distributing the leds.

In my opinion kessils are really good lights but on 100 gallons you need minimum 3 to get the results.

That's not bad at all. And I could see how that i-beam shown earlier would make it really presentable.

Yeah I like the new Kessil arms better than the goosenecks, at least for appearance, but not switching at this point at $69 each. Sometime in near future maybe Radion G4 or some T5/LED hybrid. Radion has some really nice on tank hardware now but I think its like $285 for the multi light 6ft rail setup (basically I-beam) or about $120 each if each light has an arm.

Jesus those radions are pricy. That's another topic in itself but are they that worth the price when there's SO much competition out there! Or is it just radion fanboys that buy it just because of the name

I have 1 360w on my 30 gallon breeder 36L x 18W x 13H doing just fine. It's only 8 months old so i'm still fine tuning.

You can see that the tank is 36inches long and

that it doesn't have any dark corner . All 4 corners are very bright.

I had two 360 we's and the same thing happened with my 40 long. I added two T5's to supplement. Helped out a little. That was when I realized to get out of the LED fad. Went to mh t5 combo.

Funny I stumbled on this topic as I'm just been debating on how many 360we's to put on my 150 gal 5' tank.

Currently I have three but I've been wanting to do 4 and it looks like I'm on the right track.

A bit off topic but...
I had the radion xr30 gen 3's on the tank for a couple of days but just didnt care for them so I put on the kessils. I think a common misconception is people think that "overlap" of the lights is a no no and that the "24x24" coverage is what it should do. In comparison to the radions you're really about two a360's to compare watts and coverage to the radions as stated earlier and people shouldn't expect one a360we to compare directly with an xr30.

Either way, thanks for sharing Andy!

I just received my new ATI bulbs in today. So instead of just having one 360we for a 24x24 area I'll have a 48" 4 bulb T5 fixture running the length of the tank combined with the current Kessils in place. Should be good. Mwahahahaa

There it is. Stepped up the light game. Looks very blue in the pics but the few frags that are in there are looking much nicer and the tank itself is immersed in light. Big difference over just the 2 Kessils. The 4 bulbs in the fixture are 2 ATI Blue Plus, 1 ATI purple plus, and one KZ new gen
