Kessil lights in Neptune Apex

Howdy,

I read that kessils don't turn on until 10% intensity in fusion. My question is do I have to add 10 points to all intensities or just the first one?

My peak is 45% intensity on the spectral controller should it be 55% on neptune or remain 45?

Also I have my two kessils plugged into the jr one being master and one slave.. to free an outlet can I have both kessils plugged into one outlet via a three way ?

Yes the 0-10 volts. I have the 0-10 into my vdm to the one kessil which jumps to the second kessil.

I'm talking about the power for the kessils. Can I have them both plugged into the same outlet as opposed to taking up two?

I wouldn’t plug them together. Also You don’t need them plugged into the apex at all if you don’t want. I plug mine into a separate power strip

I simply would like it for manual turn on - however, I guess I can just turn on the intensity but then can't control it or can I?

You can still control them via the color/intensity outlets manually if you wanted

Can you explain a little?

I know if you turned the intensity from Auto to on it'll turn the lights on however, what if I wanna manually get full blues at 100 intensity ?

There are two ports on the VDM; labeled 1/2 and 3/4; you can use either port. Say you choose port 1/2, next you have to experiment in Fusion to determine which channel 1 or 2, controls the color and which controls the intensity. Use the Kessil Apex cable to link to the first light. Then the Kessil chain cable to control the second light from the first.

I have them working perfectly. Set the VDM perfectly.

My question is about the power cables for actual lights that get plugged into outlets. I wanna avoid taking 2 spots up in my Apex energy bar. Can I put them into one outlet via a three way?

I thought @ZachR32 answered that. You don't need to plug them into Apex at all. You can use the VDM intensity channel to turn the lights on and off.

Right, he mentioned he wouldn't plug bought into the same outlet but I guess I'm wondering why ?

Also if you did plug them into a seperate power strip how could you manually control the intensity and color without messing with your lighting program ? Can you do that with fusion ?

Plugging two devices into one outlet is partially a matter of personal choice. Since these lights don't draw much power it probably will be fine.​

You can semi-control it. Changing the intensity from Auto to On will turn the lights on with 100% intensity. Likewise, manually turning the color to on will be 100% whites.​

That's what I thought about manually changing it. Bummer there isn't a slider to adjust
