Hi there everyone!

I just ordered 2 kessil mounts for my kessil ap700 only to finally put it all together to find that they don't fit in the rim of my tank and my custom ghost overflow also gets in the way.... I have a way I can get around the overflow but I'm not sure what to do about it fitting the rim. If anyone has had the same problem and can help please do!
Thanks!!

You don't think you'll be able to shave the rim at all? Maybe with a pair of standard pliers you could crimp the edge in a 90° angle, just like how you put the slot in the top of a pumpkin when your carving it to see where you can line it up to lay it down. Same general idea. It will give you wiggle room without taking away the edges around the whole sphere so it won't drop into the water

Here are some pictures of it how close it is. Also how thick the plastic rim is. Hope you guys can help me!

Do you even need the white plastic block?

Look at Kessils video, there is an image of the mount on a rimmed tank with no white spacer block in the first 5 seconds of the video.

The white block goes on the inside. It acts as a spacer for the rim. There should be 2 smaller bolts that go through the front holes and into the white block. Then tighten the back screws.

Yes I know that I had them all put together and they don't fit over the rim of the tank. When I take the block off it fits over the rim but when I tighten to to the tank it tightens slightly diagonal.

Get the A series extension and mount it to the tank stand. I just got my exntension in and will be drilling into the stand.

Hey everyone I figured it all out! It's not exactly how I want it to be but the way my room is set up it shouldn't affect much!

You can't put it together first. You put the bracket on the tank rim and then slide the white block in on the inside between the bracket and the glass. Then with your third hand, you insert the bolts and tighten them. Then you tighten the bolts on the outside.
But if you found something that works for you, that's good too.
