is there such a thing as off-brand wires for the kessil lights such as the unit connecting wires that link each light together and the control wires that connect the lights to a controller like my apex? I just can’t bring myself to pay $20 for a cord that costs $.25 cents to make, $3.00 wholesale, and $20 retail.

Anyone have any sources or links to where i could find them?

Isnt there something like a ethernet cable end on the other side?

I have the kessil controller. I control my kessil with a 3.5mm audio cable. If I was going to use multiple kessils, I’d use multiple 3.5 mm audio cables

Depends on the controller. With an apex, probably. With a reef angel, nope. Just two pins you connect to.

I have an apex, do you guys have any links to exactly what i would need? To link and control?

So i have 2 new 360’s, do i need 1 cable too link them together and 1 control cable? Or do i need 2 control cables and no link cable?

You just need one cable from your apex to the first light. Then a regular 1/4” cable between the first and second light.

I think you need a box for the apex too.

Yep. That’s the one. You just gotta use a stereo cable, not mono. One channel is the intensity and the other is the color.

Your napkin math is a little off. Maybe a standardized, mass-produced 3 prong power cable costs $3 wholesale, but that is not the norm. Ethernet to 3.5mm is going to be a proprietary cable and most likely specific to the device. I would be shocked if your amazon link even worked for what you want, it very well could damage one of the devices. Going by the build in your signature, it looks like you already spent the money on quality equipment - Why would you take the risk to save barely $10 on a cable?
