Now I am just getting back in the hobby after a 5 year break. I ran 400 watt radiums and VHO or T5's until switching to Radion g3 pros also with supplemental blue plus t5's on the XHO reef bright fixtures on my dd300. And had 0 issues growing out an awesome sps tank. This time I am starting of slow and on a budget. Picked up a nice used setup with a dsa 65 gallon with synergy overflow. The canopy came pre setup with a maxpect razor r420r 160watt and 4 t5 retro fixtures. With the blues at 90% and the whites at %30 the tank looks pretty good. Just threw 4 new blue plus bulbs in and it appears to have more than enough light. My long winded question is should I swapp out the razor for 2 kessil a360we lights that have about 1 year of use on them. I would still be running the t5's about 5 hours a day. Plan on doing a small mixed reef with focus on a few high end acros in the upper half. This is a 36 inch tank.

Thanks ahead of time
Picture is with just the razor on

I've liked Razors, and have had Kessil as well. With the T5's either option will do just fine. I've found Kessil's on their own to be lacking, I like the spectrum of Kessil but I still have a system with Razors over it.
