Hello all.... need some help with my Kessil A360WE's.
They appear different visually at 100% both channels when done manually instead of with the controller.

A little background, ran into a problem with my tanks nutrients bottoming out and the dreaded Dinos growing in my frag tank.
Tank is a 40B. Lit by 2 kessils spaced 15 inches apart.
I had removed the lights from the controller to play with settings to lower the white lights while destroying the Dinos.
I do run my lights at 100% for a few hours a day during peak lighting and have had great results.

When I turn both channels to 100% they do not have the same appearance as the tank across the room that is on the spectral controller with both channels at 100%.

Anyone have any ideas why?
I'll post pics later of the difference im seeing.

Following... I have 5 A360WE's on 2 seperate tanks and they have been consistent for 4+ years. Granted I run them off Apex unit. My first suspicion would be quality of cable to each light.

Brand new kessil brand cables. I dont run an apex or other controller, only the kessil spectral controller. I had heard that when using the controller there is a built in program that blends the light intensities.

Its strange. I have a total of 3 tanks running kessils. All A360WE's. 2 on a 75 that is LPS dominant with some bubble tip nems, a 20H with 1 that has my large carpet nem, and then my frag tank. I use the same light cycle for all 3 yet have a little bit different appearance in all of them. Here is my carpet...

That is strange that they're not consistent. Maybe take some alcohol to cable ends and see if there's some resistance? Don't know what else to tell you... Btw nice carpet

First picture is of my frag tank. Both lights have the knows turned to 100%.
Second and third pictures are my carpet nem tank (20H) and controller.
Fourth and fifth are the 75 and controller.

Why do they look different if all of the lights are supposed to be at 100 for blue and white?

Just out of curiosity re: your frag tank - are the cables plugged in all the way? I had a similar issue where it the cable wasn't totally seated. Also match the frag cables to your others to make sure they have the same tip/ring/sleeve rings on the tip.

Frag tank lights are on manual right now no controller. But are at 100% both channels just like the other tanks. But the appearance is much different.

Age? Mine started doing this after about 4 years of use. I had two 160's and one began to flicker and would not come on. Checked connections and after a few tries is consistently lit but had an obvious color discrepency from light to light. I simply bought new lighting.

One more bump @Kessil ?

Might I make a suggestion? Visit their web portal, select contact us on the bottom, and submit a email. You should get a reply within 24 hours I'd wager. I did with my a360x's. There is also a phone number.

Edit: Looking at this what I wrote seems a bit snarky to me after re-reading. Sorry. That was not my intent. What I meant is that I am not sure how often they frequent the board or if they will catch the @ tag. I had an issue earlier in the year during the peak of C19 and used the email on their portal and had an email rather quickly. They asked a few questions, photo, and then worked on a replacement.

I can't speak of what they will or will not do but it wouldn't hurt to also try the email is all I meant. Best of luck!

Sorry we missed the tag!

It's possible that you have a channel out on one of the units - causing it to appear more blue.

The cable cleaning is also a key part.

Can you email these photos to us - [email protected]? We can help a bit faster as we've got multiple people monitoring the email.
