Hey guys,

Stupid question here. Does the controller need to be plugged in all the time for the programs to take effect? I plugged the klink cable into each of my two kessils a360x's, and set my custom program to each light. For some reason, the kessils don't seem to be responding perfectly. I set the lights to 0/0 instens/color at 11:30 PM and they just don't shut off. Any ideas? Does the controller need to be plugged into both lights at all times?

Yep, can’t control the light if it can’t communicate with it.

gotta be plugged in or wirelessly able to talk to the light.

the programming you did was to the controller, it doesn’t save the program to the light(s)

Is there a wireless capability with this controller or no?

There is a wire dongle you can buy for the light, but I don’t know how it works

i use the controller with the cable to the light
Gotcha. So you have k-links cables plugged from controller to lights at all times?

Yes. Have the controller mounted out of the way in the stand. Never really touch them after you get them set...
Gotcha. And so if you have two lights, you plug a k-link cable between the lights and another k-link to the controller from one of the lights?

Plus the x controller draws its power through the k link cables, unlike the older Kessil controller that had its own dedicated power cord.
