I Just noticed since i turned the lights on today that about one third of the tank seems more purple than the rest of the tank. maybe im just seeing something or its reflecting off the glass or something but i wanted a second opinion. if it is something wrong does anyone know a way to trouble shoot it or how to get it fixed. Honestly i tried to get the best picture i could . im talking about the right hand third of the tank.

Photo doesn't show anything different from right side VS left.

Why don't you put hold a sheet of white paper over your net top and move it around to see if the paper color changes.

Or better test. Put two pieces or white paper on either side and compare.

I did that it seems like the purple part of the spectrum is coming through a little more on that side. I do not think anything is wrong with the light I think its due to the slight angles it is at.

If its connected to the dongle open the app and look at the settings? Or possibly look at the spectral controller if its connected to that?

Oh, is this a new light, that you just setup? I thought your light changed after initially working properly.

Of course you will see difference in lighting in your tank with only one light in center. The Kessil has a lense that blends all the light and color before it leaves the light fixture in a spread out beam.

The rocks cast shadows. One rock is higher than another so may appear brighter. Light looses intensity it passes deeper thru more water.

Nothing to worry about. THe light is fine. Enjoy finding a setting that suits your needs. Or try different setting during the day, which I like for variety.

Enjoy!
