Would two Kessil A80 be enough over a 40 breeder to grow gsp, mushrooms, xenia, and sinularia leather? I have no plan of adding any sps just softies.

I am far from expert on this light but based off what i know i would say no. Xenia and singularia need a decent amount of light. Even with 2 i think not nearly enough unless you only putting them in top third.

Yes u can prob do it with 1. Directly underneath it.
3 or 4 par38 bulbs would be better. Those never really stuck though. Lol.

I liked the par38 on nano tank. I thinking of starting a jar and might be perfect for thst. Still more powerful than an a80

Rapid led. Steves leds. Contact customer servrice. They will put together a light for you if your a diyer. Go solderless.
These screw in bulb garage light recievers i got at hd or lowes and i just wired it up with a plug out the other end. Than u just need your par38 bulbs. I dont think ecoexotic even makes em anymore.

No, two A80 would not be enough. Two A160 might be enough, depending on the dimensions of your tank.

The A80 is a relatively weak light and is really designed for pico aquariums. I had a pair of them over a 7g tank, and that was barely adequate to keep low-light LPS corals sustained.

If budget is your concern, go with some of the low- or no-frills fixtures off of Amazon. Viparspectra, I think is one of them? I'm not 100% sure, as I've never looked into them for myself. But I do know that plenty of people have used them with good results for even SPS tanks. You can get a much more powerful fixture for the cost of one of those A80 lights. You won't have the Kessil shimmer, but you will have a good-looking light that can support the corals you want.
