I have 4 kessil , 160we tuna on my 75 gallon tank. I have a few corals. But I'm upgrading to a 180 gallon. (can't wait). I'm not really looking to upgrade my lights right now, so my question is. Will these lights be good for the 180? I'm not looking for SPS, just a few softies and what ever else I can have. I'm still trying to put together the other things I need, bigger sump, skimmer and return pump. I'm going to do a piece at a time. I'm really looking forward to having a few better options on tangs and some other fish. I hope I'm making sense. Thanks for looking.

Yes, I would add a couple more lights if your doing a mixed. I have 2 a160we on my 46 gallon bowfront and they work just fine on softies.

I have 2 on my 30 long and 2 on my 34 deep blue and feel like I need to add another one each. I feel like you may benefit from upgrading to the larger brother 360

You can absolutely get by with four 160s on a six foot softie/LPS tank. Maybe you won’t be able to put corals right at the very ends, but otherwise it’ll be fine.

I ran.a 120XH with just three and softies grew really well.

I used to have the same exact set up!

Now I have the lights on my deep ocean shallow/frag tank 24X24X12 and don't even have them more 25%intensity and my LPS corals are growing and birdsnest coral doing really good so far. Love these little power house lights!
