This may seem like a dumb question but it says its compatible with the the older 360's but has no power source. Is that something the I have to buy separately ?

The x controller comes with one USB port and one 0-10 volt port. I believe all its saying is the x controller doesnt come with the old style cable to connect the light up. You have to purchase it separately.

You need 2 link cables, one to connect the two lights together then one from the master light to the spectral controller.

That’s a really good question. X controller gets its power via the k link from the 360x light. There is no separate power input jack. My guess is that you can run the older lights off the x controller, but you have to be running at least one 360x to power it.

Maybe there’s a special power cord from Kessil that connects through the k link without needing the 360x light, but you have to ask Kessil.

Thanks for the replies. Waiting to hear back from kessil. I did try to use the other port to the light to see if it would draw any power from the 360 and it did not

Here is what I got from Kessil and Im posting it in case others come across this issue
The Spectral Controller is compatible with the 360NE. The controller came with a USB cable which is the cable used to plug into your frimware slot on the controller. This also acts as your power cord cable. You will need a USB power adapter plug ( 5V similar to what smartphones use ) which is not included with the controller. You can get a USB power adapter from most drugstores like Walmart , Target etc
