Kevin's 36 gallon setup

What is a antibiotic that won't hurt coral. I'm thinking my shrimp ripped my firefish's tail fins mostly off. He is swimming some what ok just mainly staying in one spot. He ate ok today. I just noticed it today

Yes I know it does. Where can I buy screen and how do you make a screen lid for a bow front?

I get lexsan

Andrew calvo

Well that would not allow my "open top" setup now would it Andrew? That is why I am using eggcrate and probably are going to switch to screening. I would prefer to have a completely open top but I don't want to lose any due to carpet surfing

Well thank you Andrew, I'm taking the shrimp back for a refund and getting Rocket II and a six line wrasse in the morning

That sucks. I make sure everything is closed up good. And he never acted like he would jump. I got the shrimp cause my wife liked him. I told her I was buying another fire fish and she could get a cleaner shrimp or a red starfish. But she said I wanted a six line wrasse so I should get it and another firefish instead

I wouldnt get a sixline wrasse. Most are as bad as damsels to new additions once established. Many here will agree and have had to catch and remove them. Very few have stories of them being good.

Saltwater and Reef Aquarium Supplies - Bulk Reef Supply have a bow front and made the screens just fit the square part of the tank and then got some acrylic to cover the "bow" or bent part of the tank.

here is the screen before the acrylic
