Kh daily swing/fluctuation

Curious what people growing SPS think is an acceptable daily swing/fluctuation for Kh.

I try to keep it as steady as possible, but with lights on, more KH is used. I’m not concerned if I go from 9 to 8.4 or a little lower during the day. Although I try to adjust my dosing to keep it as stable as possible.

Jason Fox said that 1 throughout the day is not going to make a difference.

Mines moves 0.5 every 4 hours. I dose 2ML of EVS B-Ionic every 4 stays between 8.4-8.9ish

IMO, if you keep the daily swing less than 0.5 dKH, that is acceptable, but tighter may be better. Folks with alk controllers claim to see improvements with greater stability.
