KH Director Peri Tube/Calibration

Does anyone know if we are supposed to add the 12cm leangth of the peri tube that goes around the pump?

I have been trying to calibrate and add the exact volume for the sample water but I keep reading different guidance.

The manual does not to do it but a thread with Vinny in it says to add it.

If we add it, how much volume do we add since the inner diameter is smaller than 4mm.

Also, we add 7ml for the filter, right?

The length I used was from pump 1 to the tank and then pump 1 to the KHD water intake.

The water in the dosing head itself was not calculated in my calculation. I would think it would be such a small amount it would not be needed it was already figured out in there calculation.

Yes 7ml but I put 10ml after the final calculation was done.

The tube wrapped around the doser head is part of the total length of the water sample tube, so yes it should be considered. That is how you help the KHD achieve the maximum accuracy. The length of this tube is mentioned in the KHD how-to video.

I appreciate it being in the how to video. Since that was not provided in the box my KH Director came in, I decided to ask this forum.

Could you humor us and either send a link to the video within this text window, or just tell us what the answer is to the question?

Intestine. Could you expand on why 10ml vs 7ml?

I just want to get this right and accurate. So far, my measurements have not been accurate or consistent.
