So what does everyone's Alk chart look like? I get these weird spikes to 8+ all but then it drops back down to 7.75ish. I mean, not the end of the world by any means.

Electrical Interference on the ph probe? Or just normal testing variances?

How much time in between testing?

Mine has weird hic ups at the same time everyday

2 hours in between each test

It is unusual because it goes smooth for so long too and then spikes. So I have been ignoring the spikes unless they last a long time.

I've been considering lowering the retest value to 0.2dkh between tests to see if it helps.

Like those little jumps are what I think interference as I test every three hours so there is no way it was testing

I really only look at the apex when I get one of the alerts I set up

Every night when I go to bed I look at the khg screen and when I wake up I look just to make sure I’m around 8 dkh and that’s it

No, I recalibrated the pH probe but still having the issue.

I also am getting this error *ERR* at the very beginning when the kh guardian starts testing for alk. it comes on right when it says AL-1

Do you really need to access the KHG remotely? Port forwarding is a real pain, and I was so glad to see it go out in 2010 when the original Apex was introduced. I only access my KHG when I am home on my network; but your needs may be different. I just remember pouring over the manuals to work it out; sorry it has been too many years for me!

With the help of Sam, I figured it out and it really wasnt near as bad as I thought. Thanks though!!

This is great, but the one thing it's lacking for me is a way to mount to the wall. Can you or anyone modify this so it could hang from the wall directly. Or a bracket that this could clip onto that does?

I'm having a hard time finding a lot of reviews, but the support I see in here from DVC is great. I'm having a tough time finding a lot of happy users and supposedly this has been on the market the longest. Alkatronic is quite the opposite, but comes with the price tag and extra features (I don't need dosing.)

Help me pull the trigger, it's too quiet in here

I love mine... had a massive uptake in alkalinity over my honeymoon and tripled my alk dosage. Without it I would have lost my sps for sure. I almost didnt trust it either lol.

I love mine too. Especially with the new addition of being able to turn off my calcium reactor if my alk gets too high and dose alk via its own dosing pump if alk gets too low

Well I just have the monitor, but I am able to adjust my dosing pumps accordingly.
