Most important thing is to not panic and start changing things.Something is wrong, Wall hammer is dying and my gold hammer has fully died.
no build thread?would love to see this alk monsterThey'll likely be fine.
My tank drops 3dkh a day if the dosing breaks, and I've been down under 4dkh when a head clogged.
Nothing really got upset.
You can go up 1dkh a day, don't forget to take into account the daily consumption, so you will probably need to dose more than 1dkh each day.
i.e. for me to go up 1dkh I'd probably have to dose that on top of normal consumption.
Thanks so much. Most important thing is to not panic and start changing things.
Hammers and Torches are in my experience quite a difficult coral - I've lost quite a few of them.
Just keep the tank stable and they may recover.
Check Salinity and Alk again - they need to be stable.
If they're retracted turn the lights down a bit and the flow down a bit to give them a chance to recover.
Avoid the temptation to dip the coral or disturb them too much.
Alk is 11.3, another one of my wall hammers is dying I will move it to my other tank. My Goni and elegance doing really good though. What is the alk today?
