How logn has it been running?
What is the volume of the reactor?
How full of media is it?
What is your flow through the reactor?
Whats the flow inside the reactor?
Any air trapped in the reactor?
Whats the nitrate going in?
It should pop on its own (provided its actually going aerobic) in 10 to 14 days.

let me try to answer these questions to the best of my ability....
1. a few weeks, lets say almost 4... maybe more like 3.5
2. not sure, of volume, i converted and older Calcium reactor into one.... id say 5inchs across and 20inchs high.

3. media is really full, like almost 2 liters
4. flow through the reactor i changed again down to 30 drips per minute. its fed through a T off the return...
5. no air that i know of...
6. not sure what the last question means..... whats the nitrates going in? like a container??? my nitrates are somewhere between 20 and 40 per the api test kit.... (which i hate using, and comparing color)
