Kill Euronema in Empty DT.

So i finally was able to get my fish out of my 600g DT. It only took 4 hours, three t shirts stuff into caves, a whole bag of polyfill (also stuffed into holes), a 40 x 30" piece of plastic and 4 nets. Side note: I have the fast fox face on planet earth.

The tank is only 2 months old with no corals, CUC or anything. I know you can drain and bleach everything.. but you are talking about 400lbs of live rock, 600 lbs of sand.. basically I am not going there.

I have read formalin won't kill the free living parasites, what can I use? Metronidazole ? Can't go copper as it will be adsorbed into the live rock. I also have 120 watts of UV and a ozone generator that will help but it seems that nuking the tank would be the best way to start with a clean slate.

good luck with this battle im curious was the Euronema killing your fish or is this just a preventative measure after a death

At this point I am about to pour diesel in the tank. Diesel or cement. Cement would smell less but I can't get drunk and light in on fire like I could diesel.

Metronidazole is the only documented remedy I have seen here in the disease forum for Uronema. I would use this.
